Pengertian, Rumus dan Contoh Kalimat Present Perfect Tense

Present Perfect Tense adalah suatu bentuk kalimat untuk menyatakan kejadian yang telah terjadi di masa lampau dan masih berlangsung ataupun terkadang telah selesai.

Rumus Present Perfect Tense

Rumus Present perfect tense menggunakan "have" atau "has". Dan selalu diikuti dengan verb-3

Kalimat positif (+)
Subject + Have / Has + Verb 3

Kalimat Negatif (-)
Subject + Have / Has + not + Verb 3

Kalimat Interogatif (?)
Have / Has + Subject + Verb 3

Contoh Kalimat Menggunakan Present Perfect Tense :

Positif (+)

I have read the novel
She has done her homework

Negatif (-)

I have not read the novel
She has not done her homework

Interogatif (?)

Have I read the book ?

Contoh penerapan dalam kalimat dari penggunaan Present Perfect Tense :

Untuk menunjukkan bahwa kejadian telah terjadi pada masa lampau dan berulang kali :

Your mom has called you three times

Untuk menunjukkan situasi pada masa lampau dan masih terjadi :

I have lived in Surabaya for 6 months
My son has studied in Singapore since two years ago.

Untuk membicarakan kejadian yang baru saja terjadi (dapat menggunakan adverb "just")
